Augmented reality is hot.
Augmented reality combines real and virtual, it enables user to view additional layers of data when they see normal objects through smartphones or webcams in real time.
While the Nexus One and 3D TV have all the buzz going in to CES 2010, you might want to check out an cool augmented reality app called AR Drone – a remote controlled quadrotor helicopter with built in wifi and 2 cameras – controlled via the iPod Touch or iPhone.

As it’s only available for iPhone/iPod, the device maker Parrot plans to launch it to other mobile platforms as well. The price and release date haven’t been announced yet, but are expected to be late in this year.
