If you are looking to an alternative but legal way to publish your iPhone app, check out YourAppShop.
Remember magician Steve Sheraton, the guy who created the widely popular iBeer app for the iPhone? He created this new App store YourAppShop due to his frustration with Apple’s slow and picky approval process.
YourAppShop is a platform that allows developers to create their own app stores, it is based on the technology that is already being successfully used for Premier App Shop, a store for magic trick apps and Sex App Shop, which features adult content for iPhone and iPod Touch.
“Our cloud-based Instant-App-Creator makes it amazingly simple for content owners and labels to sign up, create a downloadable app and monetize their content,” said Steve Sheraton. “This is also a great opportunity for smaller labels and models just starting out to reach new audiences and create a fan base utilizing a powerful medium like mobile.”
Very interesting way to set some developers free from Apple’s strict policies, but I think it might also opens the door for rogue apps like Droid09. If you are interested in creating your own app store check out YourAppShop. (It’s nothing there yet though)
